    Bonney V22 ¼" spinner

I found this recently and a quick search gave me the impression that someone may actually need this. I felt like this would be the best place to start.

What is this snap-on box worth?

I saw a snap on box almost exactly like this(same era logo plate) for sale locally and seem to remember it was actually rather clean but definitely not perfect; all drawers worked fine and it was in "used restorable" condition, not a museum piece...

    Mystery snap on box value

Saw this Snap-On box and got the guys number, he wants $40 for it. appears to be clean and obviosly sandblasted, which for me is better than spray bombed. Comes with a working key, probably not the original. Has an older logo, there's a guide on how to date it but whatever. I slid in-and-out a...

    Four newer Firestone deep sockets.

Saw these today and picked them up since I don't see them very often, but they look much newer and cheaper than the sockets most people want from firestone; they don't look Proto made, or maybe I'm wrong. They also have some battle scars. Worth anything?

    Evaporust users: really long items?

Hey ya'll. Some of the collectors around here have had amazing results with evaporust and I'd like to try it out with some of my cars suspension items like control arms and leaf springs. I have a few questions: 1) Length--How might you soak a leaf spring in evaporust? Would you not advise I...

OT: Stripping paint AND rust from bumper

I know this totally doesn't belong here, and will risk it being moved. But I know you all better than the rest of this massive forum and know there are some really great heads here. I removed this bumper to repaint it from my truck and have seen people "stripping" using chemicals for years...

If PR∇T∇ T∇∇L C∇ had played it safe...

With such a big following I can't be the only person who has felt that.....I just can't believe that they interpreted the first court cases ruling in such a way that they went through all of the design, made the forges and molds--a VERY expensive task, and wrote all of the parts books....then...

    Refrigerant guages

I work on old cars at home and have always been interested in doing my own A/C work; specifically, work involving R12 refrigerant(let's not make this a R12 vs R134a debate please). I was at the swap this morning and on a whim bought this manifold for $25. It looks like I should have a couple...

What to use for cutting sheetmetal at junkyard?

I need to cut some sheetmetal panels at a junkyard however the tools I've used at home for these jobs up to this point are a corded Makita angle grinder and pneumatic grinders. I don't have a compressor large enough for extended use, but small enough to tote along. I called the junkyard and...
