    Valve removal tool?

    I got hold of this little tool recently, described as a valve lifter. I'm assuming, on a side valve engine, it's put around the bottom of the stem and levered up to remove the collets? One side says VLC, the other YII 3. Any clues on what engine it was it made for or whether I'm completely off...
