    Old warhorse still getting it done 75 years later

    Picked this up off Craigslist for $5. Took it apart and greased it, is in incredible shape internally. Extremely smooth and strong mechanism. I think I'm going to use this as my main work ratchet. I bet it's still going in 75 years. Thanks for looking.

    What's going on with this Snap On ratchet?

    Brand new Dual 80 1/4 drive. Fit on the square drive is sloppy as hell and has some odd ring on the drive. Some type of integral wobble feature? I don't like it. Pictured extension is a Proto.

    Why so few tools with a nitride finish?

    Seems like it would be ideal for tools. Pliers, wrenches, sockets etc. What gives? This treatment is widely used in many other industries.
