Has anyone else discovered as I have that a wire wheel rubs against the tool rest of this grinder? If so, how did you resolve it? Thanks.

Just picked up one of these beast. The thing is built to take a nuclear blast! Funny though, why build such a stout grinder only to use a 1/2" spindle rather than a 5/8"? Seems odd to me, any theories on this?

Just wondering if there is any difference (other than hp) between a 115.---- series 1/4 hp craftsman bench grinder and a 1/3 hp grinder? In other words...do all or most of the parts interchange? Thanks..

Disassembled it and noticed there is no spring to be found. It seems to work just fine and smooth. Should this vice have a spring? Only paid 20 bucks for it so I won't complain if I need to find a spring. Thanks, Joe.
