    Poor Man's Battery Powered Tools

    I took the crappiest plastic 14v 6 1/2" battery powered circular saw on the planet, and tried it with a 12v sealed lead acid battery. It worked pretty good on some pine stock! It struggled a bit with some hard maple. But I don't think this saw was ever very good even at its rated 18v anyways...
