Ran across this site while looking for a rough "how to" for making a traditional bow. Some pretty neat stuff in there though. I really liked the "home made" welders:shocking:

I have a bunch of left over steel in clouding some 6" flat iron and some 3/8" thick c channel but I can't let these go. Thinking of making an anvil type thing with one of em. But any other ideas?

I bought a Ratcheting pistol grip off eBay and the seller posted the ratcheting was "stiff" from lack of use. Well stiff is an understatement as I can hardly get the thing to ratchet. Is there something I can grease or anything else to solve this problem?
Thanks,
Ryan
I think I'm a fairly intelligent guy but I can not for the life of me find ONE orange item on their website. I've read to add an "O" to the end of an items ID but that gives me nothing. What am I missing? In particular I was looking for FHLF80 in orange.
Thanks,
Ryan
Hey guys. Anybody know who makes this vise? It's on CL and all the guy knows is that it says Made in USA. I don't care to drive as far as it would take though for a POS. Thanks!

Hey guys- I help a buddy out with his work once in awhile setting up car dealerships and what we use for tool storage just isn't working. Weight is the biggest factor in traveling with our tools and we have been using duffel type bags to do this. We have tried every heavy canvas bag we can find...
Looking for orange Snap on stuff. Mainly soft handled screwdrivers, picks, torx, anything. Have hard handled drivers but would like the extra long ones. Let me know what you guys have. Thanks

Hey guys. Found a couple pairs of VG with that dreaded "made in America with global components" in the label. No marking on the tools themselves though. Are these an "in between" set so to speak? Been looking for US made ones at the back of racks and this is the. Lowest I've found besides flat...
Hey guys. Been looking for a vise for a good while and will continue to look but ran across this in CL. Is it worthy of some elbow grease and a resto or would you pass?
Her is the listing. I was going to offer $50.
"Vise is marked MADE IN ENGLAND. 5" jaws, open to 8 ½", stands 10" tall, 20"...
Hello guys. Spent the last couple months reading the past threads and have to say y'all have a great site here. Already has cost me more than I'm willing to share with the wife......
Got this box on CL and can even find a picture of an original one. I plan on restoring back to original and it...
