Nice! Those extra outlets are going to be a huge upgrade. Once you've done these, you'll see that it's pretty simple...but always best to take precautions if you don't know what you're doing and expect to have insurance cover you in the event of a fire!

Man, that is sooooo cool. The dies ARE expensive....I guess I can add this to my long list of stuff I want to save up for. :)

Have you shown that setup here? How does it work..I'm assuming the dies screw on from the underside? I have a H-frame shop press, but your setup looks like a real time/space saver.

That's quite the shop...! I've looked at some of Lazze's machines, but they are just so expensive. I guess you get what you pay for, though. Never thought I'd care much about another man's compressed gas cylinders, but it looks like you went all in! Again, I guess it's a buy once & cry once...

Never heard of a rotabroach...thanks for the post. They resemble annular cutters with a pilot bit in the center. I'll have to pick some of these up!

Kind of reviving an old thread....just wanted to say I happened to buy some "Pinch Clamp Pliers" from McMaster, Item 6541K67, thinking they'd be some generic brand....turned out they were Knipex and only cost about $20! Go figure....these are my first pair of Knipex's, gotta say, they ARE pretty...

Electrolysis is waaaaaaaaay faster....as long as you're careful to put it on a GFCI and keep it away from meddling children and pets, it's a truly fantastic restoration tool. Even museums use it to restore sunken relics, etc....

Google electrolysis for rust removal if you really want to see the markings....or, just lightly oil and wipe down to keep the patina. But DON'T sell it!

What kind of media blaster are you using? Looks like you do it all outside versus a blast cabinet...seems like a good way to save space and keep the grit out of the shop!

A few passes with a heat gun might take the fight out of that liner....:p

And there's the rub! In order to do "x" you need a tool that does "y"...and it all goes downhill from there. Especially in metalworking! On my list are a slip roll, finger brake, hydraulic press, and probably a bead roller. Of course, there's the english wheel, power hammer, etc. etc. It takes...
