Troubleshooting was valuable to me. But, if she can stick weld, she can probably mig weld without much help. I'd move her to TIG.

I have gas on my little 110 Lincoln and it works fine until the metal gets thick. I welded a lot of quarter panels with it for sure. I still use it to tack parts when I can't get them close enough to my welding table. I think you'll find it does most of what you'll need.

I've got the Primeweld mig and tig machine along with a small Lincoln 110v. I like Lincoln so I looked pretty hard at the red stuff, but oddly enough, the primeweld duty cycle was better (not that I'd hit it.) I've welded on a lot of nice mig machines and the Primeweld does just fine.

If you are particularly worried about it, put some additional blocks under it across the floor joists. But, I probably wouldn't worry about it.

I bought a set off amazon and just exchange them locally. If not, you have to setup a lease. If you can find some off craigslist, someplace might take them on exchange, but you never know.

I'd probably find a local high school votech that could use them or get them to a kid who could use them. You could also pawn them if you don't want to mess with selling them online.

I would agree with this. I have a couple of 16" vornados in my shop and they are very good fans. Doesn't hurt that they're made right down the street.
