Concur as well from another fellow network engineer. Run the Cat 6 in conduit, save the time, and money, and energy from the fiber.

Time to add the JackLifts so the openers do not detract from the work of art on that back wall :)

Obviously you have missed a few others on here who's garages were "done" or amazing with nothing left and have somehow managed to add amazing changes. I guarantee Chad will find something :)

I have the same system at my house as well and it helps alleviate the worry of "did I close the door...." You can order on amazon the pieces separately for a good bit cheaper on amazon. I got both for $50. Someone posted a thread a while ago about this process as well. Cool toy

Well worth it! My attached garage I blew in fiberglass insulation and have R30 + in the attic above it. Was 22 last night garage stayed at 54, neighbors that have not insulated all complained of the temps in their garage. Well worth it to have it, and with a small heater is perfect!
