    I am a very experienced woodworking at time it was my only source of income. I have to admit, I am not infatuated with sawstop. They are nice saws. Nicer then an old school powermatic or well set up Unisaw? I say no and realistically twice the price.

    I own the dealt with both tracks. I have used the festoon, Makita, desalt, grizzly, and homemade. once you learn the ins and outs of each saw, they all perform well.

    I am a carpenter by profession. All biscuit joiners do the same thing. I am fond of the dealt because of the aluminum fence but there is nothing wrong with a HF, Ryobi, etc.

    I have had good luck sharpening good quality files by soaking them in white vinegar over night, old gunsmith trick.
