What to keep or rebuild? Jacks

Thanks, exactly why I asked, lots of details I don't know. At least the Lincoln cleaned up nicely, just a scrub with Dawn soap so far

What to keep or rebuild? Jacks

Good info, yes, the powerbuilt is probably an import. It does have a higher limit and a two piece handle which I often like to use jacks half length. I'll definitely look up the complexity of rebuilding.

What to keep or rebuild? Jacks

This is the second, its partially disassembled, I have all the parts though. Looks like there is a rebuilt seal kit. I assume the Lincoln is worth more? Sent from my SM-J327VPP using Tapatalk

What to keep or rebuild? Jacks

Nothing too fancy here but I just got two jacks for free. I've used my HF aluminum race jack for over a decade but now I have a Jeep Wrangler and its not ideal. Just got handed two free floor jacks and they are beefy! 93lb for one, probably 75lb for the other! They would do better with my...

    Keeping Vehicle Maintenance Logs

I just jot things down in one little notebook in my office. Oil Changes and any parts changing etc. I try to keep up with it but inevitably I'll add something later. Gives me a "close enough" reference list.

PSA: Kidde recalling MOST plastic handled fire extinguishers

Is everyone "bothering" to send the old ones back? I'm thinking an "extinguisher demonstration" is in order.

VCT project in 2 car garage

Probably on my list as well, cheap and relatively easy... I'm thinking dark squares for the "tire tracks" since I park inside.

How's it underfoot when wet? Did you get a tile with some traction?

Sears Black Friday Ad (Lot's of Craftsman)

Looks like its about $1 more each item in my local big Sears. Went ahead with a 20 piece wrench pack for $30 and may go back for $40 torque wrenches

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

I needed a clock for my garage office so I made one: Also installed a pair of ceiling mount 8" two way speakers I got for free from my gym. Definitely sounds great!

Any issues switching from shelves to cabinets?

I had open shelves that I hung old miniblinds in front of at my old place. Was nice to hide the cluttery look of things. I now really like cabinets instead. I don't do a ton of work in my garage and I do park two cars in it daily. The closed cabinets look a lot nicer all the time (even when its...

Let's see your beloved workbench trinkets

I have a few awards and trophies but this is more of a trinket I have: Bottom bracket of a vintage bike used as a pencil holder. I haven't cleaned up the edges yet. I have another that I have repainted and it's at work.

Advance Auto Parts - $50 off $125 coupon code

I have no idea why someone would care about gas recipts. Some care about all maintenance done to the vehicle, however, I'd guess 90%+ of the used cars sold come with nothing but a smile so pandering to a possible **** buyer is low on my list. He'd probably pass on my car anyhow since I drove...
