    Vintage diesel test kit?

A friend of mine picked up this tool kit at a yard sale over the weekend, from what it appears it's a Bacharach brand, with a diesel compression gauge, some hand reamers (for carbon scraping injector ports, I assume) and various adapters/ete... No tag or part numbers on the box itself. Didnt...

    Lisle 60740 Torque Adaptor Set

I've got the 25NM adapter, works nice. Not sure where the screen shot price is from but yeah that's high. 98$ at amazon, https://www.amazon.com/Lisle-60740-Torque-Adapter-Set/dp/B0DSYV7XVJ/?tag=atomicindus08-20

Allen 13900 3/4 ratchet rebuild kit

A US made Danaher era kit will work, Napa/K-D/Allen/Craftsman/Easco/Masterforce/ete.. Probably certain Armstrong kits. Finding one for a reasonable price may be the issue. Should be this kit here...

Battery powered lights. What are you using?

Streamlight microstream pen light, have a couple, the USB charging saves on triple A's. Used constantly. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07DLZXZV1/?tag=atomicindus08-20 ATD 80340's had been my go to lights for a long time, great magnet & they were fairly inexpensive, now they run around 50$...

    Induction Heater for broken bolt???

A mini ductor would work fine along with a bolt out, But I'd be more inclined to weld a nut to it and and go that route. That'll heat it and give something solid to put a socket on. This assumes welding is an option. For induction heaters, I've used Mini ductor and currently have a Bolt...

    Which blasting media

Crushed glass works well for rust/paint, not sure how it compare to coal slag though. May depend on grit. Garnet seemed to have much better life over the crushed glass when I played with it in a Speedblaster. Never used aluminum oxide or shot, so cant really say how it would compare. I...

    For the tool truck guys

Last couple of Matco flyers I had dont have prices listed actually. They must figure on the price changing by the time they're in circulation or something. They did have the flyer promo's online at times IIRC.

1/2 drive in 3/8 size ratchet

8pt/pipe plug sockets, tap sockets, low torque applications for regular & bit sockets. I use the one I have often enough to warrant having it. I had found some torque wrench repair kits that convert from 3/8 to 1/2 drive several years ago, Armstrong kit # 64-091 / 796AR-91 . They fit...

Bit driver handles with spinner caps

Magna seems to be the OE for these, I have an S-K branded version I like. Kind of harder to find a source for besides ebay when I was looking a few years ago...

    Hydraulic Seal Tool

Had a set for a while, very simple tool. Even the inexpensive ones do ok. +1 for the boiling water trick, best way to get teflon seals/wear rings installed.

SO Ratchet repairs (TM75 and F723)

RKRATM75A is the correct kit number for the TM75A, RKRA930 might work with the TM75A, neither show up on the (crappy) Snap-on website though, both are on ebay; https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=rkratm75a+kit&_sacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p2334524.m570.l1313&_odkw=tm75+kit&_osacat=0...

Is EBay completely worthless or does it just seem that way to me

Been on ebay since '99 or '00, still the only place to find odd random stuff. I do watch who/what/where I buy from, thus far minimal issues doing so. The last few years I had noted I was getting less and less from there. Prices going up due to things becoming "collectible" for whatever...

Extra long flex head ratchet box wrenches

I have the Gearwrench set and a handful of Matco's, They are quite handy, I use them about as much as a normal combination wrench. The 18mm gets used quite a bit on caliper bracket bolts, 14mm too. The fixed box end can be as useful as the flex box end. The spline feature is somewhat...

Matco and Sunex 6 drawer carts

I had a MSC4 full drawer cart and this is what I came up with back in '20, Looks like it may be what you'd need (see the link in the link) https://www.garagejournal.com/forum/threads/matco-parts.445148/post-8370311

    Snap on key

I had seen that there were key blanks on ebay, that would require having one good key to copy (Which I had). I ended up having the Snap-on guy order spare keys from the lock number/code on the key, was about 15$ and a couple weeks or so IIRC. If you dont have a dealer, calling Snap-on...

    Bending Die for Steel

https://www.leevalley.com/en-us/shop/tools/workshop/workbenches/vises/32011-veritas-metal-bender?item=50K0801 Apparently they discontinued it, but I've got one of these, used it with 1/8" often to do 90* short bends.

Tire mounting salt belt - No rim rust or bead sealer?

We've got "No rim rust" at work and find it better then bead sealer overall. Wheels with heavy corrosion up to slight pitting seal up pretty well. Ideally the wheel should get repainted but no one wants to do that (time/expense).
