There are spring loaded wheel that retract when weight it applied. In this pic it hung below the runways so I ended up modifying it so it doesn't.

Dannmar makes rolling jacks that are identical to bendpak but a few hundred cheaper. My 6k jack was $999 shipped from summit a few months ago. I imagine the 4500 is a little cheaper. I use 4"x4" wood blocks when I need to jack something in the middle and they work good.

Look for a used name brand lift, I found a 12k 4 post Rotary that I picked up for $1000. The next best $1000 I spent was for a air/hydro bridge jack!
