Best Fire Extinguisher for a Car?

1kg (~2lb) dry extinguisher works for 6seconds(!) - you really need to know how to use it to kill any fire. That said, no extinguisher is too big.

Untrustworthy Folks, Thieves, and the Like...

Drop it. Nobody can really tell what he'll do until he does it. He can tell us as much as he wants about being all-forgiveness or bloodthirsty ******* until confronted with real life. It works both ways so, please, only past situations in this thread.

Round Head vs Pear Head Ratchet Poll

You're looking at the wrong end ;) . Hole at the bottom of the square doesn't matter. It will snap near mechanism (if it ever snaps), that's where highest tension is - and in this crosssection there's a hole.

Round Head vs Pear Head Ratchet Poll

True, QRed square is weaker but only by 10-20% so still it's still more possible that you damage ratchet mechanism before snapping it. But I agree about psychological factor :( . For me, it's more convenient, with ratchets I only use QR.

Round Head vs Pear Head Ratchet Poll

    Spark Plugs-Just a little info

Spark plug tolerances according to ISO 28741, which I suppose is the latest standard: M18x1,5 e6/H6 M14x1,25 e6/H6 M12x1,25 e6/H6 M10x1 g6/H6 That is loose but only barely. Spark plug taps you linked make H3 or H4 which is ok. "General" taps for these sizes make D5-D7 - that is very loose fit.

Pocket knives: Who uses an automatic as an EDC?

Why automatic? Good OH is more useful as a tool.

    24 inch ratchet

You can rotate socket on square by 90* and you get new positions in between old ones - so you have position every 30* with a bit of effort - the same as 12pt without rotating.
