    Snap On ratchet handle preference?

    I'm a fan of the traditional hard handle but I can confirm the new style handle on the 100 tooth is pretty awesome. Not gooey and hard to clean like the soft handles.

    In our machine shop where hole diameter tolerances need to be held close, this is he fastest, easiest and most accurate grinder for drills 1/2" and below. We use for 135 degree points as well. For sharpening on a bench grinder, we typically use this gauge.

    I would think Snap On chrome sockets are a nickel alloy but impact sockets are 4140 for higher ductility. Basically the material is not as hard for impact sockets so they don't crack. So both are right

    Air Hoses - Can you find one that will last?

    Continental Gorilla hose formerly known as Goodyear Gorilla is the best bar none. Used in our machine shop for years. Lasts longer than any hose we have ever used. Resistant to oil, metal chips and being run over by forklifts. 500 psi rated.

    Can anyone ID this cutting bit?

    Carbide micro boring tool used in a lathe. Unless it is a threading bar. Can't tell conclusively from the angle and quality of the pics.
