I think I can salvage it, but yes finding the cover would be very nice

ok here is as bought. My friend has since been able to lube it with some wd40 and gotten the ram to go down.

yah, I got it that far. I tried sticking a paperclip in the hole on top next to the lock cylinder, but I couldn't figure out what releases it. I did get both lock cylinders back to there normal position. So both jacks work now. thanks
