Wall mounted shop vacs .... any thoughts ?

I know this thread is old, but I have to chime in, mostly due to the JOY I feel now that I just got my Hoover GUV for 155 delivered. Great suction, great looking, nice long hose, handy tool organizer...awesome addition to my garage and totally blows away the lowes hang-up one I had before.

    Le garage...

WOW...it takes a lot to impress me--the quality of the framing is handiwork we don't often see here in the US. Nicely done.

    Remote mounted air compressor tank?

It's funny, I was going to post my question here on GJ, but I searched first, and sure enough, someone had already posted about putting a compressor in the attic. I didn't want to start a new thread because it's sort of really just an extension of the original poster. I have a 5 gallon...

    Late Fall Epoxiers Beware!

bummer...there was just another thread recently about cold weather installations. Electric heaters are the way to go. Also they circulate air throughout the garage as they heat.

    Ridgid Shopvac

I love rigid...we use one in the epoxy installation business. I think it was like 120$ at HomeD. It has held up under commercial use cleaning concrete dust after grinding. After 2 years it still kicks ****. It's on the truck now, so at home I have a very sorry 5-gallon shopVac that's a hang-up...

Great way to clean expoxy floor

mopping is not for you? But isn't pushing an electric steam mop around the same as pushing a non-electric, non-steam mop around? I clean my epoxied floor in a few minutes with an industrial mop kit, and it's so glossy it stays clean for months. I have, at times, used our hoover floor-mate hard...

    heating garage while doing epoxy

What about installing at 50 degrees? I always liked the results I got in cold-weather installations. Of course, I didn't like the 8 days of drying time before hard-cure on the last coat. But cold weather installs, the epoxy has time to flow and level. Installing in in Austin in the heat of...

How to Protect Epoxy Floor from Jack Stands

I have an epoxy floor in my car, and I continue to build it into my special man-cave. I am getting back into cars and want to start working on cars in my garage. But I can imagine jackstands and jacks will be murder on the epoxy floor. Anyone ever tackled this problem? There must me pads or...

    Laser Parking Guides? Tried it?

Anyone ever tried those laser parking guides? they are sold on eBay and Amazon, you mounted on the ceiling and it's activated when a car comes in the garage, and you pre-set this laser to a spot on your dashboard and that's how you know where to stop. It seems like it could be a pretty good...
