I bought a set identical to that (red case) off a Snap-On truck about 15 years ago. Keep it in my truck and still use it a few times a week. Bits aren't really that bad. Nice to have a variety of bits all in one place. Think I paid $12 for it back then. Well worth it.

See, that's another thing. I've read in a few spots to stay away from anything with clay in it as it holds too much moisture and will expand in the winter months. Should have specified earlier, I'm in Central NY and our frost line is 48".

Ok,so my garage build is finally underway. Few more poles to set and I'll have to start filling in the low side and grading it off. Problem is I've been searching what would be best for fill and it seems to be most people are split 50/50 on sand or crushed stone. I only need to build the base up...

I've got the 21', little heavy but I use that thing for everything. Absolutely love it. Thought it was a decent price compared to the "Little Giant" branded ones.

Do you remember if they used 2x8's or 2x10's for the headers? I've looked back through the pics and can't really tell. I would think a 2x8 on each side of the 6x6 would be enough for an 8ft span but they look like they might be 2x10's. My plans got delayed last year and now I'm pushing again for...

I had to keep a box fan blowing on my tool box all winter long in the last house we rented. Box was in a basement garage. If I didn't tools would constantly be soaked with moisture.

I can see it happening sometime i the future, seems a lot of states have been introducing it lately. I just haven't seen one that has made it as of yet. I know this same question pops up pretty frequently in a few of the automotive forums I visit.

Sorry, that bill died January 2011. If an officer is writing you a ticket for that you damn well better be taking it to court.

It's been a bad rumor for years. There are currently no laws that I've seen about leaving a hitch in your vehicle. If your state has one please feel free to post it up.

Lost power for 3 weeks during the ice storm of '98. Most of January with sub freezing temps..

I had a few too many beers one night and decided to do some welding on the bike. Helmet was ******* me off so I decided just to weld without it, looking directly at the arc. Ended up in the ER the next day. Don't know if there's any permanent damage, prescription hasn't changed.

Damn good score. BTW, I work at the Arsenal now..
