Re: what did you do in your garage today? Opened up garage door walked around looking at all the rusted salt waterlogged tools and stuff i lost thanks to Sandy, got really depressed closed door and went back to work on house.

That style looks petty kool, but that isn't the type i was referring to. These look like a kids bouncy house blowup you can just put it anywhere unfold it turn on the fans and it blows up to a full inclosure.

I have heard of portable blow up spray booths available. I don't know who makes them or where to get it though. My understanding is that it is like the kids bouncy rooms and inflated with fans and is fully enclosed.

You can install any frost or design window film or cling material on any window. It can be double or single pane without any issues they do not absorb any heat. You could have a problem with any tinted films they do absorb heat and can cause expansion problems breaking the glass. Frosted window...

Shopnut it definitely looks good that way. I have a regular stick built type garage and rather than do the extra furring i am going to run it length wise.

Shopnut was there any reason why you went with the rafters opposed to perpendicular to them? Did you have to add furring to the rafters to do it?

I have a few sets of tires that are not being used right now, what would be the best way to store them? I don't necessarily mean rack wise i mean mounted/unmounted,mounted with proper pressure or mounted with low pressure. Should they be laid flat or be upright? It might be a while before i use...
