Light fixtures have ground wire but I am using conduit as ground

IIRC, as long as your EMT is bonded, all you need to do is connect a ground wire to the juction box and the ground wires in the fixtures. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. Tommy

Best practice for wiring a compressor

Generally speaking, when equipment doesn't come with a cord it's meant to be hard wired. Just looking at it from a purely technical point of view, if it's not "portable", it shouldn't be wired with any cord, it should be hard wired. Tommy

Vyper chair casters, where to buy?

I tried a SoundSeat throne for my drums. It was comfy, but he five legs took up WAAAAY too much space. I couldn't sit close enough. Floorspace is always at a premium with drums.

I returned my propress for this

Yup. I prefer to use them on baseboard, even though I see many plumbers just crimp the fittings right on. One company I briefly worked for a wouldn't use the pex to press adapters on baseboard, the owner required sweat to pex adapters.

    Garage Speakers

I vote for used stuff, too. I currently have my old Sony STR DE935, my old Boston Acoustics A40s and an old 22" 720p TV above the bench. Eventually I'm going to be upgrading my current Sony STR-DN1050 receiver, as it no longer "understands" all the newest Dolby coding. That will go into the...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Just brought down ours for Mrs. LS6 to assemble and hang the lights. No, I'm not too lazy to do it. Her mom always had nine bintillion lights on her "Christmas Torch", so it's kind of a personal thing for Mrs. LS6.

Where to get decent bathroom fixtures?

We have two in the house, one elongated and one round for the smaller bathroom. There's a couple different model numbers, depending on if you want skirted or not, and two or three different flush volumes. Here's the American Standard page I bookmarked when we were getting ready to redo the main...

    Double flare mini-split line set?

I just looked at a Pioner minipslit installation manual. There's no mention of double flares. IDK if it's the same for all their models.

    Warranties on mini splits?

Fujitsu doesn't really ask for much out of the ordinary when it comes to warranty, but they specifically state they will NOT warranty anything purchased online. Copied verbatim from my warranty paperwork on the three Halcyons in my house: "This Limited Warranty applies only to Systems that are...
