The Milwaukee cordless heat gun is mid at best. Eats batteries and does not get hot enough. It’s one of the few Milwaukee tools I get returned often.

Well, nobody. Depending on the rest of the plan, it may not be used in this situation, but it is plenty of other applications where lvl’s are still the better choice.

Having worked with both, I’ll take the LVL’s every.single.time. By the time you sandwich plywood, what are you saving? What’s your time worth? No hunting for good boards with same dimensions. Stronger, flatter, straighter.

Not a thing. Air hammers hit faster, are an 1/8 of the size and actually designed for the task. Buy a cheapo deluxe air hammer and move on. Or just smack the ball joint with a hammer and it’ll release.

Typically, against same sized wedge anchors, they have higher ratings.
