Epoxy-Coat is 100% solids.

You need to diamond grind to remove a very thin layer of your floor. If you coat with the dust still on the concrete, it will not allow the coating to bond. You may also have a moisture issue. Have you performed a moisture test?

I would recommend applying a clear coat on top. My only worry with doing this is, if the concrete was not properly prepared, the current coating may peel up. If the current coating peels, it is going to cause the clear top coat to peel with it. Do you know how the contractor prepared the concrete?

If you do diamond grind week prior, be sure that nothing gets onto the floor, and you do not drive on the floor, in the time between. Any dust, debris, even walking on the ground floor can cause a contamination issue.
