    Epoxy-Coat in Lowe's

I'm not sure about any stores that carry in stock, but we do provide to Lowe's nationwide. You can purchase on their website or at the store. You can also chose to pick ship direct to you or to the store. Or, you can order over the phone and we can match Lowe's pricing.

$2300 to epoxy coat a 16x15' floor??? Los Angeles

We distribute to Lowe's nationwide. I have no way of telling if a Lowe's store near you has any in stock though. If not, you could place a special order with them, or us. But, I see that you don't have much time, so I'm not sure how that would work..

    Splitting Epoxy Containers

From what they provided, it sounds like a 1:1 mixing ratio, but I would call the manufacturer to double check. If it is a 1:1 mixing ratio, you can split them into 1/2 gallons (64 ounces) of each. I would definitely double check with the manufacturer on this before doing it.

    Red Epoxy and Lift

If you would like to re-coat in the future, you do not need to grind everything off. Just clean the surface, sand to remove high gloss shine and create a scuff, and clean again. This will give you a rough profile that will allow the new coat to bond with the existing.

Floor prep advice needed (prior to epoxy)

Grinding is the preferred preparation method. Diamond grinding should eliminate any areas where water still beads up. I would also recommend using water as you go, as mentioned above. If you diamond grind, you do not need to acid etch after.

Options on darkening my concrete floor (with pics)

We offer a wet sample in the clear coat. It will give it a somewhat darkened wet look effect, maybe not as dark as the picture you posted, but definitely darker than dry concrete. But, it will also highlight everything in the concrete (rust stains, different colorings in the concrete, etc.) A...

Options on darkening my concrete floor (with pics)

Some companies may offer a "wet sample" to try out their product, before actually purchasing the whole kit needed to cover your area.

    Overstock on Inventory

Beige Blend is one of our Standard Flake Blends, so it is not on our overstock inventory list. I do apologize. If you purchase 75 LBS or more they are $5.00/LB. 100+ LBS will drop the price down to $3.50/LB. I'm sorry about the inconvenience when you called.

    Epocy-Coat completed

Happy to see you are pleased with the results. Our kits are advertised as coverage UP TO 500 sq ft. The coverage depends on how porous your concrete is, how thick the coating is applied, and the condition of your concrete. If you had only certain spots that were transparent, I would say you have...

painting a design on concrete and then sealing it

Painting a design and going over with a clear, like BlackTalon mentioned, is doable. We had a customer paint a design on his floor, using all epoxy. Once the design was finished, he went over with a clear coat to make the floor look smooth and finished. He said it was a pain, but the end result...

Top coat to hide the uglies?

A top coat would give it a smooth finished look. As Jaye944 stated, you will need to sand the base once it is fully cured before applying a top coat.

    epoxy-coat designs

Scotty is correct, what you are asking is for a different product. Mixing and pouring a single batch for a whole 2 car garage is not recommended. You're risking the chance that the epoxy will begin to set-up before you get time to spread it.

    New epoxy coating/parking on it?

Oops, forgot to mention. Even when you are DIY applying, and there is a sealer, you will still need to diamond grind.

    New epoxy coating/parking on it?

If the prep was done correct, the floor should not have peeled. Your contractor should have prepped the floor by using a diamond grinder or shot-blasting. I have never heard of a contractor using the acid etching method. That method of prep is more for a DIY application. When there is a sealer...
