Does anyone have insight on why the round lift pads would be a better option than the square ones. The rounds are a bit smaller, as can be seen in the pic. Thanks in advance for any feedback.

The ramps have been on with the lift up for five days now and the ramps don't show any sign of bending...only reason I'm worried is because my car is now underneath it. Should I drop it down and take them off?

I checked the bulbs in my fixtures and they are T12s. How much more light would I get (if any) from a 4 light fixture, 4' long, with (4) 40 watt fluorescent tubes vs the single 300 watt equiv single cfl? I know the question may sound stupid but I'm guessing that (4) 40 watt 4' tubes will put out...

Just checked out Lowes' website and a 65 watt cfl (300 watt equiv) is almost $18...ouch!!

Funny you should mention that as I've tossed that idea around. If I use 6 of the fixtures with (4) 40 watt bulbs each, I'll have a total of 960 watts of light. If I switch out my current 100 watt cfls with 9 400 watt cfls, I'll have a ton more light, right???

Don't know, how would I tell? The bulbs in them now are 34 watt each and the info sticker reads day bright, part no 7-74631-001 and says suitable for damp locations....probably doesn't help but I figured that I'd put it out there.

Why not run a line to a 60 amp subpanel and run your compressor and plasma off that with individual circuits to each?

BendPak XPR-10A here, absolutely love it!! Lifts my 6,600 lb diesel like nothing and their customer service is second to none.

I was originally going to go with 1/2" but now I'm thinking that 3/8" would be easier to roll up and maneuver around. Maybe I should go with 1/4"???? I'm running diy'er type stuff, impact wrench, air ratchet, grinder, etc. Let me know as I haven't pulled the trigger yet.

Too late, why the hell didn't you tell me that sooner? It's ok though, the asbestos that I used only flaked off a small pile of dust that I had my kids sweep up and toss in the garbage, which my wife took out. Also, my dog took care of (licked up) what my kids missed. That stuff must taste good...
