yes the porter cable set from home depot (pancake compressor and 3 nailers) for $200 bucks has been great for me for my home renovations. I use it at least once a week for the entire day. The 16ga and 18ga nail guns have been great. Highly recommend the entire kit and its such a steal.

I have the lisle one. It comes in a grey case. Ive used it numerous amounts of times. Its worked great for me every time. No issues. Even the bits have held up ok.

hell yeah they are. As long as they are the older usa made ones your good to go. They last in professional shop use no problem.

why not just go to the dealership and ask them to remove them for you. They have the master sets which has like 40 different keys in there. Then have them just install regular lug nuts instead.

yup. i have used my breaker bar on those countless number of times to get them off. i had to weld a socket to my sst tool that i got from toyota because i was splitting the drive end so frequently from people tightening the corolla filter. its a horrible design that allows you to lean back and...

at work today, i had to use my 24" breaker bar to get off a oil filter off of a 2012 toyota sienna. the oil filter housing is metal. so i had toyota sst filter cup and my breaker bar on it. i still struggled with it. it amazes me the way other techs do things in the shop.

Unfortunately all adapters will break. 1/2 to 3/8 normally wont break under impact gun use. They normally will shear off with breaker bars. Even more so with cheater pipes attached to the breaker bar.

Im using it on a toyota, which it calls for a 14mm 12 point. So im wondering why would the tool be any better vs using a 14mm 12 point socket and a extension of your choice. Since most headbolt sockets are normally about 4" in total length.

I know there is a special tool designed for head bolts. Why can't i just get the correct extension and socket needed for that application rather then buying the specialty tool that has the socket and extension as on piece. I just never seen the purpose of it. Im about to buy the tool but not...

i have the 231ha model. when i compare it to my friends 231c, his seems to hit a little harder but its wayyy louder. but i havent had any problems breaking anything loose with my 231ha model.
