    A bit disappointed with Vessel

But that company doesn’t even want you as a customer, I’m told.

    Doubling down. I like it.

And that, friends, is how you build a loyal customer base.

Looking for a quality benchtop mill

I had a Clausing 8530, it was a beautiful machine. After having it for a while, I discovered that it was truly the worst of both worlds. It took up nearly as much room as a Bridgeport, while being too small to do any real sort of work. It sold for more than I paid for it, and honestly more than...

    Ikon ratchets lack QR feature

I keep seeing references to having to pry sockets off of Snap On ratchets. I have never experienced this...not once, from 1/4 to 1/2 drive. Sockets go on and off without issue, but never come off unless I want them to. My sockets are comprised of Snap On, Williams USA, GearWrench, and a few...

How are your shipping containers taxed?

Not a thing in many states

How are your shipping containers taxed?

They aren’t. Portable building and containers are not taxed.

    Recommend me a screwdriver set

If I wanted Wittes, I’d buy Wittes. I liked the hard handles because they were decent quality, cheap, and made in the US. Without that line of drivers, I’ve no use for the company as a whole. I can buy rebranded German and Taiwanese tools from a hundred other vendors. They like to capitalize...

    Mandatory Water Cutoff Valve?

This is all very interesting. I’ve spent a lot of time over the years dealing with very large wildfires, but always in very rural areas. I’d never considered the loss of pressure due to leaks from burnt homes, etc.

Thoughts and advice on getting an air compressor

It has been at least two days since the last thread discussing the obsolescence of air compressors. If you need one, you know you need one, and you can’t fathom not having one. If you don’t need one, you feel compelled to as others if you really need one.

    Need a good Adjustable Wrench.

Everybody's different for sure...but there are so many scenarios where an adjustable is as handy as pocket on a shirt.

    Need a good Adjustable Wrench.

I think somewhere between “none” and “all of them” is likely the right amount.

    Need a good Adjustable Wrench.

The idea that folks here, who typically have very well equipped boxes, have one or two…or even zero…adjustable wrenches is wild. I have a drawer that it nothing but adjustable and pipe wrenches. I have adjustables in every road and portable box. My main box has two adjustables each in sizes...

    Need a good Adjustable Wrench.

That would be cool if they weren’t in Canada. I was excited.
