I did not go all the way to the edge of the concrete, I left about 6 inches of concrete show and then painted it to kind of match the tile. Tou can see the border in this photo.

VCT= vinyl composition tile. I used Armstrong tile from Lowes.

I used Zep products, stripper, sealer and high traffic finish.

I am going to have to wait about a week to let my back and knees rest. This was a pretty tough job for me to do, my wife really helped a lot.

During the process of cleaning my floor I discovered the valleys in it, several big puddles were formed as the water settled in them. Do I need to apply some type of leveling product before I put down my tiles?

I thought it had to with the moisture in the compressed air, the stuff in a can is dry. You need to check it with a meter like people mentioned and make sure you don't have a wiring problem. Better safe than sorry.:shocking:

Yeah, only a few people liked the pattern. I do like the old pattern but I kind of started too think it was a little too crazy

I agree, that tile pattern was way too crazy. I came up with a real simple one with a white floor with a black border, in the single bay a 2x2 red & white checkerboard and in the double bay a blue Chevy bowtie.
