Transmission jack identification

Hi all, anyone recognize this jack? I would like to find a kit for it, or am I better to break it down first and then find parts? I want to keep the jack around but it leaks, seems to work fine but cant stand the leaking, it also needs a replacement release knob or I need to make one up with...

Double Bevel Sliding Compound Miter Saw's

+1 for the Dewalt 12s, we use them daily until they wear out, have both the sliding and non sliding with foldable stands, invest another $100 in a good blade for finish cuts and you are good to go. If you cut really small pieces (without beveling) make a homemade fence out of hardwood that stays...

    The VISES of Garage Journal

Just thought I would share a little, picked this up last week, pretty plain No. 4 (3-47). I think I prefer an original finish instead of restored but this thing was painted kind of a John Deere green and not very well, everything was painted- everything! So a little bit of clean up and early...

Don't know much about it, but it's no older than a year or two, and unmodified as far as I know.

    The VISES of Garage Journal

Whats with the swivel bolt on this Parker? I assumed my 433 1/2 had the wrong bolt, it is like this one, a bolt with a hole in the top and roll pin in the hole (I pulled the roll pin out and tossed it because it was damaged). Anyone?

    The VISES of Garage Journal

Before I mounted the parker I just picked to be my working vise, I had a Wilton 4 1/2 or 5 inch from the late 80s maybe and it worked fine, they should be around used if patient

    The VISES of Garage Journal

You know before thumbing through this thread I could have gone home without this vise! Instead, picked it up, wiped it off, bolted it down to use it, just needs a little lube. Parker 433 1/2, wish it had the original swivel lock bolt and wrench, anyone got an extra? :D [/IMG] [/IMG]

    Vintage New Britain NB40

Yep, pretty much like that, its in great shape inside but that "W" shaped spring is broken. I am going to take a shot at making a coil or two at the bottom "V" shaped type of spring out of some piano wire and see what happens. I don't need to use this dinosaur but was hoping to make it work...

    Vintage New Britain NB40

Any chance at all parts are available for these ratchets? Inside looks good near as I can tell, pretty simple unless I am missing something, main pawl, two shifting locks, and a "W" shaped spring (the part I need), any ideas appreciated

    Mac toolbox value.

I don't know who owns Mac now or then, but my lower Mac tools box from 1977 is stamped Matco near the bottom, from what I gather Matco was the tool box manufacturer for Mac before they broke out on their own.

    Mac toolbox value.

Cant say about value but thought I would chime in anyway. I just inherited the same set from my brother, used very hard, but still great boxes in my opinion. The bottom is a Mac (made by Matco) 1977, and the top a Matco 1978. Put different wheels on lower to fit under a workbench, and put top on...
