    Prepping concrete with fibers for epoxy coat

    After you etch the concrete, whether its with acid or grinding, you need to take a torch and burn the hairs off. This is the best way to be sure you get rid of them all.

    That sounds like the price given from someone working out of a truck with a cell phone. Too good to be true usually is.

    using torch

    As previously stated. Some welding is fine. Getting heavy slag on epoxy is not good. This is when a clear coat comes in handy. Just scuff up any burn marks and reclear.

    Floor prep and epoxy - did I wait too long?

    If the floor is still clean you should be fine. Maybe take a leaf blower and blow out any dust or debris. A far as the primer is concerned, you really do not need one. If you really feel you have to apply a primer, call me with the options you find locally and I will see if they are compatible.

    Anyone use Eagle Acid from Home Depot to etch concrete?

    Any paint should be removed before doing any acid staining. Good luck and post up some pics when you're done.
