What thread is this? (Brass fittings)

Maybe take the barbed fitting to a hydraulic hose shop. They should have a method to determine what type of fitting the threads are. They might not be able to supply the fitting you need, but they might be able to identify what the threads are for the regulator.

Single post lift not lifting. Questions with pics.

Would appear the blue hose is supplying air to operate the lift. I would verify there is air pressure available there. If so, I would break the union apart below the control valve and verify the valve works, or connect a temporary air hose coupling to the pipe going down into the concrete (to...

Cost of setting deep Well pump and some trenching.

I'd get 2 more quotes from different companies. Be sure to define what you want so they each bid for the same materials. I read your post as installing into existing well. If so, I think the quote is high for anywhere in the US.

How is Water pressure and volume affected with line size?

I helped a friend trench 600 feet (uphill) from his existing well to the new house he was building. I used a online app to determine pressure drop expected at 10 GPM which was the pump size. Massive difference between 1 inch, 1 -1/2 inch and 2 inch. Could not find my spreadsheet, but remember...

Unless you can bend a lip on the plate, I'd use two pieces of angle. I think that would be cheeper, lighter and stronger.

I think he either does not trust you to pay, or he is hiring a bunch of day labors that he has to pay with cash every day and has no funds of his own. A three day job: 40% before starting today, 30% tomorrow, and then 30% the next day. My biggest concern would be someone getting hurt and...

What's the right fix method - wrong size garage door opening?

Agree to let them add trim at top to cover the gap, but suggest to lessen the disappointment you will experience every time you look at it, they need to add nice shelves around the walls or some other feature you cut out that you wanted. Had a friend where the builder installed the wrong front...
