    Harbor Freight Coupon Thread

I took that to mean that the guy that prints off a coupon or cuts a paper version out, the carries either in their pocket for 6 days while licking fingers, picking nostrils, and scratching balls while shouting that Covid-19 is not real science in line a HF are the basis for the coupons being put...

Sears.com hot deals and clearance thread

I did the same thing at the Crossroads Mall Sears. Not sure if I was before or after you, but I got a mint condition USA impact driver, several Craftsman Professional screwdrivers, and a handful of WF adjustable wrenches.

    2020 Garage Sale Thread

The box is marked Duplex, not Snap-on. The box is what made me stop and take a look. A local hardware store named Hoekstra Hardware most likely sold this box, they used to sell them. When Hoekstra closed in 2016 after 149 years in business they still had some Duplex stuff for sale.

My wife made me take the family Pokémon hunting and while driving through an older neighborhood, I spotted 2 tool boxes set out for bulk trash pickup. Here's what I found.

    Any Angle Adjustable Wrench

Has anyone seen this wrench before? I got it in a lot of old tools and I'd like more information about if it is worth keeping or selling.

    Anybody have Paramount combination wrenches?

We have Paramount 1/2 ratchets at work, they are OK for the single use that they are used for. I wouldn't buy one, the quality is meh if you had beer goggles on.

Icon Tools, what’s the consensus and is there something as good or better for the mon

Sk and Proto are not budget tools unless they are bought cheap at auctions, etc. 80.00 for a 1/4 ratchet listed in the hot deals section isnt budget level even if it's on sale. Budget tools are at the most Tekton, Gearwrench and HF.

Buying a Used Snap-on Box instead of HF

Wait, I found a snap on classic on facebook today that the seller is wanting to trade a "late model pickup" for. That's the reality out there, the I know what I've got crowd and dreamers that actually think that a tool box gains value even when it's not paid off. Most of the boxes for sale in...

Icon Tools, what’s the consensus and is there something as good or better for the mon

For a little more money than SK or Proto, Snapon is a better product. See what I did there, the OP is asking about budget tools. Later in the thread the op states that the environment the wrenches will be used in will destroy the them over time. Not really worth spending that kind of money...

Buying a Used Snap-on Box instead of HF

I looked for about a year, 3-5 times a day on Facebook and craigslist without seeing anything close to a deal. Add in lots of estate sales and I found exactly zip. The truth is these deals are super rare, like hitting the lottery. I've given up and bought a HF box. I'm sure that I can get...
