I have the brush type pull behind but only use it in the fall. Normally I just use the mulching blades and just leave the clippings. In the fall we use it to pick up leafs after running over them with the mower. With the leafs cut up fairly fine we can get quite a few passes before dumping.

We have 3 LiftMaster openers on our doors and a least once a year one of them will "forget" the code for one of our remotes. We just get the ladder out and reprogram the opener to that remote. Perhaps you have had something like that happen.
