All this installer does is residential garage doors. I was very impressed with him when he came to quote my door and he has very good references. I would like him to install but I just don't know exactly what I want him to install. I am happy with the Clopay I have on my shop though.

I am looking at a new garage door for my house. What is on there now is a builder-grade, paper-back Wayne Dalton. I am having trouble with the Wayne Dalton spring set up as well as the paper back starting to peel and look awful. I am thinking that a new door is probably the way I need to go...

We just replaced a number of the 400W (I think) metal hallide high bay lights with LED replacements. We are set to save a huge amount on electricity alone much less on the replacement bulbs/etc.

Todd beat me to it. I didnt make it over to my old shop this weekend. I hadnt thought of adding a hard line to different parts of the shop...sounds like a good idea if the vac is stout enough to pull debris that far.

Its still mounted in the shop at my parents house. If I get a chance to ride by there this weekend, ill get a measurement. I havent moved it to my new garage yet.

I have the GUV and it's been great. It can be rather loud in the shop but I may try a muffler as mentioned above. It would also be nice if it was a wet/dry vac as well but I can live with that...

The crew that finished my floor rolled a coat of curing sealer on after the concrete was hard enough to safely walk on. It looked pretty bad at first and I was concerned as well. Slowly over the first month or two it evened out or went away and looks great now. I cant see any splotchy spots now.

My old boss gave me a pressure washer 8-10 years ago. It had a honda engine and he said it wouldnt build good pressure. I bought a pump for $100-150 and it has been great since. I figured I have gotten my money's worth out of it so far...I wouldnt be too afraid of putting a new or rebuilt...

I try to bug bomb my shop at least once a year for that very reason...
