What I really wanted to know was if drill press spindles are interchangeable? Say a 15" press spindle with another brand 15" press spindle, all things otherwise being equal.

Well it can't be the 33 because my taperb is smaller than a JT2 and the 33 is obviously larger than that. Thx.

Hello all, I have a Duracraft 500 drill press. I want to use a newer keyless chuck with a JT2 taper, however it seems the current spindle is just shy of the JT2 size. Odd seeing how it has a Jacobs on there now. But anyway I was wondering if spindles from similar size presses were...

No nothing like that. I had a piece of pipe band strap loop around that wires and instead of screwing to the oil pan I used the magnet to hold it in place. I was having issues of the wires getting damaged from off roading.

Is it safe to say ditch the magnet and eliminate any off chance that the signal could be disrupted?

Rare earth magnets are much stronger than your ordinary ones, as I'm sure you know, and this one was right up against the 02 wires which I'm sure vibrate while the vehicle is running. The reason I'm asking is I just want to eliminate that as a possible cause to a P code. Correct me if I'm wrong...

Is it possible for a rare earth magnet to alter the signals being sent between an 02 sensor and the on board pc if it's sitting right next to the electrical wires of the 02? Thanks.
