Vintage Snap-On Klamp Klaw Sockets

Hmm. That's kind of cool! I don't intend to use them as I bought them more or less for the box and as a novelty. Would anyone have any idea about how old they are?

    Vintage Snap-On Klamp Klaw Sockets

I picked up a set of old Snap on Klamp Klaw sockets and I was wondering if anyone had seen them before? They look to be super old and only the case says snap on. I paid maybe $20 for them more or less as a novelty. Are they worth anything?

    Vintage Tool box (Matco?)

Hey everyone, I picked up this vintage box and I was told it is a match box. It has a Matco sticker, but I don’t see a model number and I thought if it were a Matco box it would have the traditional handles marked “Matco”. Either way it seems to be built well so I’m not disappointed for the...

    Proto 3/4 Drive Metric Set

I agree. I typically don't have an issue paying a little more for a better tool (within reason).

    Proto 3/4 Drive Metric Set

I'd say $100 for even a used set is a good deal.

    Proto 3/4 Drive Metric Set

So I was browsing my local Runnings today when naturally I had to stop and check out the tool section. They have had a few Proto sets on the shelf ever since I started going to the school here 2 years ago. Particularly this set. The first price I saw on it ever was almost $500. Finally after...

    1976 Snap On Bicentennial box

Re: 1976 Snap On Bicentennial box With pictures On the front of the little door that swings to the side, the box has the blue and white snap on emblem along with both of the bicentennial stickers! These are pictures I have right now, I have removed almost all but the snap on stickers...

    1976 Snap On Bicentennial box

I was able to pick up a vintage snap on bicentennial box today. I forgot to grab some pictures, but I definitely get some later. It is about 32.5 inches wide and 18 inches deep. All the slides work sell and there are no big dents. I even have the key for the lock. The only downside is that...

    MAC and MATCO Warranties

Maybe a better question would be: How would I manage to save these tools, and extend the life of them?

    MAC and MATCO Warranties

I agree with you completely. It is 100% my fault for not making certain of what I was buying before purchasing. I am just exploring my options. I really don't expect either company to warranty either tool, but I thought that it may have been an option.

    MAC and MATCO Warranties

Honesty the Matco is not that bad, it is just that some of the finish has wore off of the handle.

    MAC and MATCO Warranties

I bought some flare-nut wrenches from a local pawn shop which contains multiple brands. Once I got home I noticed 2 of them are a little rustier than I prefer and may not be usable. Does MAC and MATCO warranty rusty tools?
