Air compressor inspection advice (cfm measurement)

I'll start by saying I'm not very good at math so I use all the help I can get. There are several online calculators that you input the tank size, cut-off pressure and time to fill, then it gives you the CFM. I've used a couple of different ones and they were fairly close to each other.

    Bypass 6 pin relay

Shift the transmission to neutral and try to start with the key. If it's starts, the neutral safety switch is bad. You may be able to look at the dash and see if it shows the vehicle is in park.

I am looking for a filler liquid to repair my thin plastic tool trays.

Plaster of Paris? It sets up quickly and isn't too fragile.

Do they make a tool for these?

What about just regular needle nose pliers. A side through each hole and squeeze.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Installed the vxdiag software on my laptop and tried it out. Works just like the software I used at the dealer. It's much better than the crappy code reader I was using.

    Found a Compressor

I wouldn't go over the recommend rpm. The slower you spin the pump, the longer it will last.

Looking at buying house with detached garage w/no electric....how hard to run power?

When we moved in to our house 6 years ago, the shop had a separate meter. After 3 years, the electric company started billing it at commercial rates since there is no living space in the shop. The final straw was when I got a bill for $4.80 for electricity and $98.00 in delivery charges. I ran...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

I learned that when replacing bearings in a pool filter pump, pay attention to the stator orientation. If it's installed backwards, the motor runs the opposite direction and the filter doesn't work at all.

    Who Built This Metal Lathe?

I'm not an expert, but it looks like a South Bend to me. You might try posting it on Hobby Machinist. I'm sure you'll get tons of info over there.
