If your going to be putting tile overtop of the painted floor, I don't think you need the top of the line paint. If your not daily driving on the painted floor, there is no worry of hot tire pickup. The only real marks you will have is where the tile contacts the floor and rubs a little. I...

Thats what mine is doing right now. I have an epoxy floor, so the snow melt goes all over the place. Thats why I'm buying a mat to hopefully contain the water to the mat only. :beer:

Isn't you concrete already grey? So I see no problems using the grey epoxy as a base and the tan as the top coat. You might just need 1 extra tan topcoat before the clear. You'll know after it dries if you need the extra tan topcoat.

I agree with Motofixer!

I only used 2 gallons of acid and mixed it 4:1 with water. Not sure on the % the acid was to begin with. The key thing I noticed, was pour a little down at a time, then use a broom to agitate it. If you pour it all on at once, the acid will stop working before you get to the spots you missed...

I would recommend you pressure wash if you can, I saw a huge difference in my concrete after the pressure washing. You need to remove the concrete dust from the pores of the concrete to get the best results. Just my 2 cents!
