Put up a tire rack. Easy project....if my studs were where they should have been! ha Not to mention my tires are 32" and a smidge too big so they rest on the wall and front rail instead of on both rails.

Thats what i thought originally, but it isnt too bad considering the picture taken is with the standard lightling (2 bulbs hanging from the ceiling). I plan on putting in some T8 lighting when time and money allows.

Well almost a year has passed and the garage got so disorganized i had to clean it. While i was at it i finally did the last 2 coats (3 total) on the back wall. The question now is, do i paint the side walls the same color, or should i go for a beige to match the floor....? Comments always...

I decided my back wall in the garage was boring white so started painting it red. Looks like i will need at least 3 coats.

Yeah I will do the same as others on here and put some aluminum strip down. Though I started it 1.5" in so it is not right knowledge the edge and damage should be less likely.

Yeah the glue is pretty dang strong. As said above, makes cleanup a piece of cake.

I used a leaf blower and then swept everything a few times. No floor polisher was used just finished with the sealer.

71cents a sq foot, $30 approx on glue, $50 on the tile cutter and $7 on a trowel. i would buy 2 more boxes than you think because though they are stong tiles, they are very brittle when handled. also i went through a few because of mistakes or when making cuts. then you need the sealer $18...

Put 3 coats of Zep sealer down. I was going to polish but I am happy with the satin sheen it has.

Thanks guys. Yeah the pattern is a little different than the checker pattern most do. Just wanted something less 'busy' i guess. And yes definitely a plus having a dad who loves projects like building cabinets :rocker:
