2026 Garage Sale Thread (15th Annual)

Nice score. Used to re-cover the seats on the M35's (deuce and a half) with those. Also made excellent covers for the CUCV bench seats. They were nice because they didn't have the oils and stink that new canvas has.

Found some more items in my garage: Two more hammers (I have at least six now) Screwdrivers are 5" x 1/2" and 3/8" tips. A small box of jacks, cords, & adapters. A tool case, appears unused. Extension cords, 2-1/2' and 12', two of about a dozen or so I have (in various lengths) here and there.

Two of my Bell step ladders, not as pretty as they were when I acquired them in the 80's as they are used quite often.

I have two of these boxes. Came from a friend who worked for Bell as an installer and repairman, residential then commercial. He used them for the common fasteners he used. Wood screws, machine screws and nuts, and masonry anchors.

    Baldor 712 Grinder Year ID

I have a 712, appears identical to yours, at least from the viewable image, however the data plates or labels were gone when I acquired it in 1976 and it was probably 10-20 years old then. These are well built, fantastic grinders!

I found a few, all referred to 1950's, but here's one, take it for what it's worth: https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/hubley-bell-telephone-truck-pole-504184045. Not much of a toy collector but if priced right, I'd pick that up. It's a pretty cool truck.
