If it could be forced to charge I could not figure out how to do it,its easier to grab a old school charger.

Where I work has all modern digital battery chargers that will not charge a battery that is completely dead,I had to run home and get my old school charger that did the job so what is with those chargers that they will not charge a completely dead battery.

Went to HF and did find one 1/2 drill that had the screw to adjust the speed on the trigger,going to look at others this week and going to borrow one from a guy at work to get it done this time and since I will have more to do in the future I will get one. I really do not like borrowing tools...

Want a slow drill to reduce the heat on the drill bit,all I got are faster drills and have a hard time from burning up drill bits even with lubrication.

Even though I had the correct tap I did not have the W bit so I ordered both when I got the jig to drill the crank.

I need to drill the crank in my 235 for a bolt to help hold the balancer on,I ordered a fixture to do it and it has stamped on it 400 rpm or less and I know I have no drills that will go that slow so who sells one.

Its going to stay on the bench until I find parts,I do have about 10 other ratchets I can use but eventually would like to fix it since it was made in the states. It is not on the top priority projects right now.

I have decided to get the Ingersol Rand compressor early next week and I hope its the last I will have to buy unless I need to go larger.

When I get doing body work I need all the air I can get,I also use air grinders too and really could use a 80 gallon but 60 will do just fine. I would rather have the capacity and not need it then to need it and not have it.

Did some looking today and those 60 gallon with the 3.7 hp motors put out more CFM then my Campbell Hausfeld 60 gallon 5 hp compressor,could not find any specs on the 5 hp Sanborn that just quit but have my eye on a Ingersol Rand 5 hp 60 gallon that I might get monday. I have found used...

There is around a 200 dollar jump in price from the 3.7 to the 5 when the compressors look the same,the electric motor can not be that much different in price or are there other changes to get the price up that much.

Pumps are toast and both are over 30 years old and I need a compressor now and do not want to wait to get the parts and would be nice to have something new for a change.

I have two blown up 5 hp 60 gallon compressors that parts are not available so time for a new one,noticed most of the new 60 gallon compressors only have a 3.7 hp motor and wondering if there is a noticeable difference.

I will look in to that,I will be spending at least that on another compressor and just have to run a 220 outlet over to where I want to put the compressor. That shop I talked to had a exact replacement for my pump and since it was out of production wanted a premium for it.
