I have a '98-'99 catalog. The 16" deep 12 drawer was the largest 26" wide chests.

Imperial also used a disembodied arm with a hammer as their logo.

I figured out what it was. I was putting ".com" instead of ".org." It's funny though that when I put ".com" it still shows their logo.

Anyone else still having issues? I've tried reaching it over the past month and only get this:

Went to Walmart and Lowe's today for some odds and ends and these followed along with me: Hyper Tough 6 in 1 screwdriver, made by Great Neck. It says Made in USA on the package, but it probably should be Assembled in USA because the bits definitely look like Asian imports. Hyper Tough USA...

I submitted a return, and got the replacement today, and it's worse than this one. It just spins like a fidget spinner. Disappointed in Lang for such a **** tool.

I got this Lang 72 tooth bit ratchet in today, and just playing with it the thing will slip and free spin. Anybody else have this problem?

A&L was a manufacturer of plastic handles for screwdrivers and chisels, etc. for other companies. They were bought by Pratt-Read at some point iirc, and then by Ideal after they bought PR.

The sockets and drive tools, I had assumed were cad plated too. The catalogs from 1952-54 omit any mention of chrome, and if anything is said about surface finish, it's just "plated and polished." So there is no telling what it might be, I have noticed zinc and cad plate ages similarly.

Here's a page from the 1947 Spring/Summer catalog: In the Fall/Winter 1947 catalog only the combination wrenches are listed as zinc plated.

Made between 1945-47. Zinc plated due to chrome shortages caused by WWII.

The "All American" line was a homeowner grade line from Waterloo. I bought a 2 drawer carry box in December 2023. Wish I remember how I found out it was their budget line though. Yours just by looking looks a lot nicer than homeowner grade.

Wilde. The round sections are distinctive of them (although other makes would come later), also "Lobster Claw" is used by Wilde to this day in their description for them. 1961 Wilde catalog and current website description:

I bought this used bottoming 10-32 pulley tap for a project, and didn't even realize that it was vintage. I looked up the brand: Winter, and that lead to a thread on Practical Machinist, which then lead to a (dead) link to a family website, but fortunately was saved on the wayback machine...
