I was/am a low voltage contractor. When going between buildings, you will need to get some type of lighting protection. I have seen many modems and computers fried due to lighting strikes.

I got two quotes. I got a quote for 30x40 and a 40x60. Will probably end up going up the 30x40 for now. Can build two 30x40's for the price of one 40x60.

What about the garage doors? My quote has the garage doors as part of the package.

Looking at the quote that I have, it did not mention anything about radiant barrier. Did you ask for that or was it part of the package? My quote does mention full insulation package or roof insulation.

About your paint room, how are you going to ventilate the area?

I would have also put insulation between the studs, and on the upper ceiling. That would make the space really energy efficient.

Nice building, but there is not any natural light in the living section. I would suggest adding some type of back up lights in the building in case you lose power.
