Where I’m from the building code requires a head trim ( drip cap ) with dams . Not just a J trim

Hi guys , I need to install head trim over my windows with dams on the ends. My question is do I still run J trim on top of it for metal siding ? If anyone had any pictures that would be great.

Hi guys , does anyone have any pictures or explanations on balloon framing my gable end on my garage build ? 6/12 out and 3/12 interior slope . Do I just build the wall from Slab to the truss following the 3/12? Do I build it with 1 top plate and two top plates .

Hi guys , I’m building my garage this year , then I’ll be building a house later on . My question is what’s easiest way to square my garage to the road ? I’m about 200ft off the road .

I just did and contacted truss company, looks like it’s not needed.

I’m using scissor trusses so that there is room for a Mezzanine inside . And the girder truss is it a separate roof truss ? Or just beam running across ? Thanks for the info !

Hi guys I’m in the process of starting my 30 x 60 garage . It will have scissor trusses . Little question. I got my plans back to go over and was wondering about the girder truss they put on to support the door . Is the common thing ? Or is there other ways to do it ? Thanks
