What's the wierdest thing that's happened in your garage?

I moved into my grandmother's house when she moved out into a retirement home. The house needed a lot of work and I was going to live there and "update" in hopes that my mother, uncle, and aunt could sell the home when needed. My grandfather died in the house 3 years earlier, and at times it...

    Finished my epoxy floor

Floor looks great! What did you use to fill the cracks in the second picture? How visible was the crack after the final coat was put on? I have similar sized cracks in my slab and am wondering if they will show up or not, and, how to go about fixing them.

    Simple Small 2 Car

By chance do you have any close-up pictures of that crack in your concrete? What did you do to patch it before the epoxy, and, does it show up at all after the epoxy was put down? I have a few rather troublesome cracks in my slab and I'm wondering if it's even worth trying to mess with.

My wife just gave away my shop vac

I'm sure most of you have seen this as it's been posted here before, but it is so well written I often times find myself going back to it for reference. I think this section would help you. http://www.vernco.com/id526.htm

My Epoxy-Coat floor one year later

That floor is awesome looking. The black with the flakes looks incredible. After tossing around several ideas I'm thinking on doing something very similar seeing how well yours turned out. Do you find that you have adequate light in there with the black floor? And, is it hard to find...

    10X12 Shed Kit

Patrick, I bought the style shed kit (the Heartland Rainer model) back in October of last year. Only difference is I bought the 10x10. I paid 998 for the kit. My father, my brother did the leveled the ground on the first day, then build the shed on the second. We did have some difficulty...

    Considering a make over

I'm also curious about the tile. I love the look of epoxy but my slab is absolutely destroyed. Cracks, uneven surface, I'm not sure I can fix it and what the epoxy would look like on concrete this damaged. When you say damaged, how badly was it damaged? Do you happen to have a before...

    Cabinet and countertop heights?

I'm 5'6" with a 40" high workbench. It would probably be considered "tall" for my height, but it feels very comfortable for me.

How tall are those HF bottoms? I can look it up, but does anyone know offhand? EDIT: I suppose I should refresh the page before I post.

    Snap-On wheel balancer...Help

Doug, do you have a calibration weight that came with it?

    Snap-On wheel balancer...Help

I work with balance machines all the time at work. I'm not sure if it's the same type of machine, but a few we have here have the capability of balancing something as large as a tire. Calibrating it is probably not as difficult as you expect it to be. Did it come with a calibration master...

    Pex oil?

Is that because the freezing point of glycol is so low? I worked for a company that produced fuel tanks for cars. One of our quality tests involved filling the tanks with glycol and freezing them. 4 hours in -40° F, then drop them from 25 feet up. Made a heck of a racket. But the glycol...

    Its a start

Yes, it wasn't until after I posted that I went back and saw the ceiling was the same way. My ceiling isn't drywalled, and I seriously doubt I would bother with the ceiling myself. Can't blame you on that one. :)

    Its a start

I understand your concern, but my walls looked worse than yours. I did it one wall at a time and was surprised how quick it went. The end result in my opinion is well worth it. Painted everything white afterwards. I plan on putting a colored stripe on the lower portion of the wall, like a...
