Stair treads and risers. These are heavy duty and are not slippery. Good choice for an application like this.

Baseboard is installed.

Finally finishing the rooms upstairs. Got the flooring down & the casings done this weekend. Baseboard next weekend. Will also be building some cabinets that will be installed in the wall by the kitchenette.

Two Rupp's reunited. We finished the first one in February and the second one ,with the exception of a few missing parts, in May. First time together since their resurrections.

Looking back at this project, I realized how nice the Azek trim is to work with. The outside corner's and window trim are rabbeted to accept the vinyl siding. The board at the bottom has a one piece drip edge - starter strip that snaps into it. It is all fastened with Cortex hidden fasteners...

The rockers do sound like a nice idea. We do still need to finish the porch posts -not sure what he wants to do with the base of the post yet. We did find a major flaw in the shop yesterday after working on his truck. It appears that there is one big old high spot in the floor...or that one...

Grass is growing -in most places. Got cold early last Fall & not much snow this Winter so the new seeding did suffer a bit. The bare spots have been seeded again.

Hard to get very good pictures of the bathroom but here they are. I forgot about this till I saw it in one of the pictures above. The sign I made him for Christmas.

We do a lot of boating & biking in that area. Really nice there by the river. Decals for the Rupp made it yesterday. Took a couple pictures that show a little more of the shop.

The owner & I spent the last eight weeks restoring this 1976 Rupp at my shop. Moved it to its new home yesterday where it will spend most of its time sitting in a corner looking pretty with an occasional vintage ride. Still waiting on the decal kit for it.

We built a work table & a bench for one wall a couple of weeks ago. They both have steel frames & 1-3/4" tops. Pretty heavy duty. Picture was before the finish was put on. Shinny now. The mechanicals. This is under the stairs. The subs did a nice job!

Well I would say that the biggest update is that it is a comfortable 60 degrees inside! The heat was hooked up at the end of October. The grass was planted in September & was coming up nicely before the cold set it. All the trim has been installed downstairs so it is pretty much complete as...
