I have the same problem, unlevel concrete. This sounds like it will work. But I also wash my cars in the garage sometimes. How would you squegee out the water with the rubber threashold in the way?

Thats what I was thinking. I found some batting that is wraped in plastic at Lowes.

I tried the backer rod, it didn't help for me.

I stuck mine on some thin plexiglass and screwed it to the wall. That way if I move I can take them with me.

What is better for the $, styrofoam boards or just the batting? Whats a good size OSB?

I have a 30x40 pole barn type shop with the double bubble insulation wraped on all walls and ceiling. I'm wanting to put up some OSB and peg board on the walls. Would it be cost effective to put some kind of other insulation on before the OSB?

I got a movie store rack for cans.

I used some double bubble wrap left over from my shop build. Also saw it on Ask This Old House.

Great find, I love looking through thrift stores and yard sales. I like the numbers, plain and simple. Not a bad price either.

I did a 24x24 with the quickcrete, non clearcoat. 2yrs ago and after one year my tires tend to pull it up. I guess two coates might have helped. good luck! I have a new 30x40 I can't decide what to use on the floor.

I was thinking about getting that same system from Lowe's. I have city water, do I need a filtering syetem, softner or both. I had a system at my old house (can't rember the name) and it was great. One tank for salt and one i guess was the filter. But it was a lot of money.

I used a semi-gloss valspar paint and bent some ac duct metal for the top with a backsplash over 3/4inch ply-wood.

Not sure if I'll go that high, but I'm going to paint all other wood. Mine is a 30x40 as well. I put 2 rows of plywood for a loft down the center of the trusses. I've got more painted now, I'll post them when I take some more pics.
