    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

Haven't paid much attention to what pre-post 'riff pricing on Red tools is, but just looked up the Precision Blower Bare tool. Am I over thinking this but $180 for this is a bit high.... I suppose I can keep my eye out to see what Father Day promos come around.

Fiber has finally come into town. It's just a RG11 and Copper OSP https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/tk0am07ix0a1jtibznvbn/IMG_3181.jpeg?rlkey=w8ymb779myol0u40sgj0hd1zn&st=lm45sxfk&dl=0

    Drilling Out Polywater Seal

Looking for Suggestions how this can done this minimizing the possiblity of nicking a wire I have a conduit on the inside of the house coming from outside - it's sealed with PolyWater Seal. I need to pull a new low voltage cable through. I have no idea how much or deep the polywater seal is in...

    Exposed Conduit Duct Sealing

What is the -proper- material to use when sealing a vertical facing conduit coming out of the ground, adjacent to a pole....where low voltage tel comes from the pole ------>below ground back into the house. Duct Seal or Foam. I've seen it both ways.......not sure what the -standard- is

    Thawing Out Frozen Conduits

I haven't even looked yet (conduit closest to the street pole). This is more low voltage (fiber, coax). Between the below freezing temps, snow, (plowed to the right snow drift) and what not, I'm going to expect some level of this conduit to be frozen or even the conduit run.....there my be some...

    Pex plumbing connections

I'm still a copper preference for most water applications.....but do have the M12 expander and have used it when doing some crazy European style baseboards that were hung super flush to the wall. It was pretty -neat- using Pex for this instead of ridgid pipe....as I just was able to just have a...

    Stainless PW Fittings on Steel

They're actually replacing Hansens...I was going through my PW setup (gasser for utilitarian) and dedicated electric for the cars. It was a myriad of brass on the QC and the plugs on previous seemed to be plated. It was fine...except of yes, sticky disconnects. Between rebuild and time, cheaper...

    Stainless PW Fittings on Steel

 All my tip heads, lances, etc are all 1/4 SS setup for my PW setup. I just ordered new SS 3/8 QC to replace the Brass Ones on my PW Hose. I totally forgot until now that the reason why I didn't do that in the 1st place was due to my main concern about SS seizing onto the steel...

    Milwaukee M18 Tire Inflator Thoughts?

LOL. U made me RTFM now. The only time I paid attention on the cycle was just as it was about to end set pressure. My visual/audible interpretation of it was that it went .5 up and then deflated back down....is what I was thinking it was doing all this time

    Milwaukee M18 Tire Inflator Thoughts?

I don't think it cycles but more like over-inlates and just deflates a smidge to bring it to set PSI

    DIY Hoses

Yeah, Goes back to my 1st post. Quality hoses with ends (on paper) is just cheaper per ft than buying bulk hose and then as a *DIY'er* with not even the right tool to terminate it. It's just that they come in sized increments when I would love some ----custom--- sizes. Even with many excuses, I...

    DIY Hoses

Material wise, I like the Conti EPDM rubber hoses for GH. These hardly kink and abrasion is decent. I was thinking why there wasn't a nitrile like equivalent , like their HP PW hoses. The outer covers of my HP PW hoses are bulletproof....although stiff due to the braid My top tier GH hose is...

    DIY Hoses

For those who have done crimps, with the variable of different hose brands, different wall thickness....how tricky is it. Too light of a crimp, you might have a small leak. Too tight of a crimp, you cut into the jack, which then makes it a weak spot.
