My crew trucks all have Tanaka gas powered drills on them. The model with the reverse option, I believe 262fr. Started using them when the cordless drills would not hold up.
We have had good luck so far with them.
Hey jckdann, my 6.4 was doing the same thing until they replaced the radiator. If you can trade that one in and get a 6.7, I have a couple of them and they have been perfect so far. knock on wood.

I have tried all types from cheap ones to good ones. The Honda inverter eu3000 holds up very well to use and abuse. It is very quiet and we use around residential projects etc. Wacker also makes a very rugged unit as well but considerably louder.
