Ok got it thank you for taking the time to help me out. I realized my question didn't make sense after asking it! So I just need a gauge in between the tool and the hose I use? And yes my compressor is much smaller. Its a 3.5hp 60 gallon husky.

Can I just hookup my tool to the hose and bring it near the regulator and run the tool to see the pressure drop and adjust until it is at the 90psi I need?
