This thread has been pretty stagnant for awhile. Buiding is done on the outside, interior room framed with ceiling and lighting done. Summer fun got in the way, hope to get back on finishing the interior over the winter.

I'm shopping for a 4-post lift primarily for vehicle storage. I have a 2-post Rotary that I use regularly as a hobby lift. Looking at Rotary and Bendpak. Main features I want are drip pans and casters and removable ramps. Rotary vendor is pushing the Revolution but says it is built offshore...

Oil change on my '70 T/A Challengr the a nice drive.

Very productive the last 2-weekends! Last weekend hung the rest of my lights, 15 4-bulb T5 fixtures for a total of 20. Great illumination. This weekend serviced my 3-300 hp Verado's, oil change and lower units. All ready for Jammin on The James Poker Run next weekend! Tomorow the new septic...

Yes on the cut. The trusses are nailed to the posts with hurricane ties to the header. Header is bolted to the posts. Used the lift to place trusses.

Two words: "Privacy Fence":shocking:

The headers where nailed in place then through bolted. Post are on 8' centers and there is a short (filler) piece between the posts. Rafters are on 4' centers. Builder left the posts long and notched them to sister the rafter in place (see picture) and did the same with the filler pieces then...

Thanks BuickFarmer. Inside pitch is 2/12. 16' walls gives me almost 19' center height. Builder did an great job, just really slow.... I have plenty to do now. My plans are to build a 16' x 32' room in the corner where the porch is. It's plumbed for a full bath with shower. Insulate walls...

Builder hung the doors and finished up my punch list. Had the soil tested and drain field staked today. Will have a full bath and shop sink. Now I can get busy on the inside.
